The 1-inch Gasket Washer with EPDM rubber coating is designed to spread sealing pressure around Washer Head Screws, ensuring a secure fit and watertight seal. Constructed from neo-bonded galvanized steel, it offers enhanced corrosion resistance, making it durable for long-term use in outdoor installations. Perfect for fastening the center of large polycarbonate panels (such as 4' x 8' and 4' x 10'), the washer accommodates panel expansion and contraction while distributing pressure to prevent damage. Installation Tips:

  • For 4' x 8' panels, use 1 or 2 Washer Head Screws with Gasket Washers, spaced 16 inches apart, to secure the center.
  • For 4' x 10' panels, use 2 screws with Gasket Washers, spaced 16 inches apart.
  • For panels over 10 feet, secure the center with multiple sets of 2 screws and Gasket Washers.
  • Drill a 1/4" hole in the polycarbonate for each Washer Head Screw. Avoid using these screws as a substitute for bar caps on panel edges, as bar caps minimize panel stress and allow for expansion.
