Shipping Policy for Equipment and Garden Supplies
Order Processing:
All equipment and garden supply orders are processed within two (2) to three (3) business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after your order is confirmed and paid in full. You will receive a notification email once your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods:
We ship via UPS and USPS within the 48 contiguous United States. For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, APOs, please call for rates and additional shipping options.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout. For oversized or overweight items, our shipping department can investigate a more cost-effective shipping method. Please reach out via phone or email to get a shipping quote for these larger products or if you feel your shipping quote is higher than average.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to be updated.
If you do not receive your order within 5 business days of receiving the shipping confirmation, contact us at info@charleysgh.com with your name and order number, and we will assist you.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Please note that some carriers may not ship to P.O. boxes. If necessary, we will contact you to request a physical address. Please provide your phone number during checkout to expedite your order fulfillment.
Shipping Policy for Greenhouses and Polycarbonate Panels:
Delivery times vary based on your location and the freight company’s schedule. For the most accurate delivery timeline, we recommend contacting our team. They will reach out to our preferred freight companies to provide you with a detailed estimate.
We ship our greenhouses via ground carriers to the contiguous United States and Canada. Once your greenhouse is shipped, you will receive a tracking number and a link to track your delivery. We’ll also provide the crate sizes and weights, so you know what to expect.
Please note that the shipping date we provide is an estimate. The freight company will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries are curbside, so please ensure you have enough people available to offload the truck and move the shipment to your desired location.
Important: Deliveries are typically made by a tractor-trailer. If you have concerns about the vehicle accessing your property (e.g., space to turn around), please let us know. We can make alternative arrangements to ship your greenhouse to the nearest freight depot for easier pickup.
Local In-Store Pickup
Free Local Pickup:
Save on shipping by selecting local pickup during checkout. Your order for in-stock items will be ready for pickup within two (2) to three (3) business days at Charley’s Greenhouse & Garden:
17979 State Route 536, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
We will email you when your order is ready for pickup, along with pickup instructions. Our pickup hours are Monday-Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Please bring your order confirmation email with you.
IMPORTANT: If you are interested in polycarbonate panels, please call ahead to verify we have your items in stock. Inventory varies on a weekly basis.
Return and Exchange Policy
At Charley’s, we always want you to be satisfied with your purchase! Please review the following steps for returns and exchanges on equipment, garden supplies and polycarbonate panels.
Return Restrictions
Items not eligible for return
- All greenhouse orders either through our Online store or through purchase of one of our sales team members.
- Any and all custom-built pieces. This will be disclosed to you at the time of purchase.
- Shade Cloth purchases
- LifeSpace Garden Self-Watering Planter Beds
Inspecting Your Order
Please inspect your entire order upon delivery. If any part of your order is damaged during shipping, contact us immediately so we can assist in processing a replacement. We must be notified of damages within 7 days of delivery to provide a no-charge replacement.
Return Process
If you need to return a product for any reason, follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Please call our customer service team to initiate a return at 1-800-322-4707. We will provide you with the correct return address and a Return Authorization Number (RA) if required.
- Prepare Your Return: Ensure the product is securely packaged. Include a note explaining whether you’d like an exchange, credit, or refund.
- Return Shipping: We recommend insuring the package for your protection. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a damaged or incorrect product.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange, credit, or refund.
