Tips for Best Results:

  • Cover the tape with flashing or a wood trim to prevent adhesive wear from sunlight.
  • Choose the correct width based on your panel thickness:
    • 1" wide for 4mm–10mm panels
    • 1.5" wide for 16mm panels
    • 2" wide for 25mm panels

Installation Tips:

The polycarbonate panel side with printing or the blue tint is UV-protected and must face outward to provide the desired UV shielding. To avoid confusion, only remove the protective film from the inside of the panel before installation. Peel back the outside protective film about 4" from the edge, but leave the rest of it on until installation is complete. Mark the "outside" with a permanent marker at one corner for easy identification.
